TV5 channel or the former Tehran Network, was born on December 5, 1374 and joined the Sima network. Tehran Sima network was the first provincial network in Iran, which started its activity in its early years by broadcasting 5 hours of programs daily for Tehran viewers.

This network was established with the aim of responding to the urban, social, cultural, religious and political needs of Tehran province, reflecting and explaining related issues and issues. Behrouz Mofid managed this network in the early years.

In the early years, the former capital network was able to bring a large audience with it by using live programs and new program production structures such as Ramadan celebration, Good night Tehran, and… and the broadcasting hours of this network reached 12 hours. Darshahr, Drastan, Tehran 20, Big Race, Salam Tehran, Ranginkaman and memorable comic series like Powerchain were among the most watched programs of this network in those years.

“Five network, your network” was the main slogan of this network, which was always repeated in its picture frame for the audience. Maybe this feature would make the Tehrani audience feel more connected to their network. TV 2 is one of the state television, which is managed by the Broadcasting Corporation. The motto of this network is “Network Two, Network of Life”, it was established in 1346 and the office of this network is located in Argentin Square, at the end of Alvand Street, Tehran. The SMS number of the network is 300002 and its phone number is 02127862000. On December 30, 1400 and at the same time as Yalda night, the graphic and visual identity of the network was changed at 21:00. Broadcasting of Channel Two programs in HD format and HEVC codec from terrestrial and satellite receivers started on April 28, 1401. The logo of this network is made of two rhombuses and their combination with some changes, which represents the word Two.

TV 1 (شبکه یک) is one of the state television channels of Ir, which is managed by the Broadcasting Organization of the Ir. This network, which is also called the National Network by its executives, is the first Persian-language video media in the world. Broadcasting of network programs in HD format and HEVC codec from terrestrial and satellite receivers also started from 9 November 2019.
