Film irani ghadimi emshab dokhtari mimirad 1348 , A Girl Is Going to Die Tonight 1968 (امشب دختری می میرد) starring Fourouzan,Taghi Mokhtar,Farrokh Sajedi is about Homayon , who is a newspaper reporter, accidentally finds a diary of a girl named Parveen, in which a page mentions her intention to commit suicide.

The next day, Homayun participates in the press interview of the girl’s father, “Jamshid Tehrani”, which was held to explain his important trip, and thus he gets to know Parveen and his stepmother, “Firoze”. Homayun gradually learns that Parveen is suffering from the relationship between his fiancee Khosrow and his stepmother, and he is unable to tell his father about this. Homayun tries to help Parveen, but he does not succeed at first. Finally, Homayun succeeds in making him hope to continue his life.
