Ali (Reza Beyk Imanvardi) is the steward of his uncle (Ahmed Gadakachian) and the supervisor of his factory. His cousin’s daughter Shahla (Parstou), who is light-headed, is interested in him, and his cousin Iraj (Garsha Raofi), who is always drunk, is dependent on him. One night, Iraj runs over an old man with his car while drunk, and Ali and his uncle, while visiting the old man, meet his daughter Mariam (Sepeideh) and hire her as a secretary in the factory. Ali and Maryam become interested in each other and Shahla puts Iraj in Maryam’s way to keep Maryam away from Ali. Iraj quits his addiction, and Ali pretends to be uninterested in Mariam for his happiness. Iraj and Maryam get married; But Iraj, who is suspicious of his wife’s relationship with Ali, beats Maryam and when she tries to kill Ali, he is killed by his own bullet. Ali, who is accused, is freed by Shahla’s testimony and starts a new life with Maryam.
