Nowroz Khan (Nusratullah Karimi) lives in his ancestral house with his wife (Shahla Riyahi), his son Homayoun (Shahyar Ghanbari), his daughter-in-law Ferangis and his daughter Nazi (Jale Sam). His children force him to sell the house and buy a plot of land to build a multi-storey apartment. He who receives a salary from the administration will go bankrupt. Fereydon, Nazi’s fiance, steals his mother’s (Jamele Sheikhi) brilliant ring to help them and sells it for 30 thousand tomans. After learning about the matter, Fereydoun’s parents drive him away and he becomes a burden on Nowruzkhan. Nowroz Khan is also expelled, and between Farangis and his father (Mortaza Ahmadi), due to the delay in the construction of the building, there is an altercation and he makes Nowroz Khan regret what he did. Frustrated by the creditors, he auctions the half-built building, settles his children in an apartment, and buys an ancestral house for himself and his wife more expensive than the price he sold it for.
